Backpacker Accommodation Options

Our Abel Tasman backpackers accommodation offers you the traditional budget backpackers accommodation in one of our dorm rooms or for those who prefer, a private cabin.

Backpacker Dorms

We have 2 x 7 bed dorm rooms on the Cat-a-rac (one in each hull). Each dorm has 1 double bed and 5 single beds.

Price = $110.00 NZD per person, $220 NZD for a double dorm bed, includes BBQ dinner, breakfast and bedding. Towels are available for $2.50 each person.

One of our double cabins can be changed into a 4-bed dorm room with the option of either a double bed and two singles or four single beds, all fully made up.

Price = NZ$265.00 for 2 people, NZ$365 for a triple or NZ$465 for a quad, which includes BBQ dinner, breakfast and bedding. Towels are available for $2.50 each person.

Cancellation policy:

As space is in high demand we ask that you please let us know if your plans change as soon as you can, so we can avoid disappointing others, thank you.
Cancellation within 48 hours prior to stay - no refund.
We may ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit for group bookings and for peak season Christmas holidays - February.
